2020: what global warming did next
Anna Reynolds, Deputy Director, Global Climate Program, WWF International, writes:

Save carbs and be slim; Greenfleet; and a Soapy Creek

You know how when you go to the doctor, they pretty much give you same advice about every condition. They always say eat more veg, do more exercise, drink water etc.

They never say "Well, for this particular condition, I recommend you up the chocolate intake increase your alcohol to at least 3 drinks a day and keep well away from the Stairmaster. Recreational drugs are highly recommended too."

Green car insurance

This makes sense - insurers are going to be the worst hit by rapidly escalating climate change, so one insurer has hit upon an idea to combat it within their own product.

Australian Insurance Holdings will offset your cars emissions when you insure with them. Other insurers are watching closely to see if it is a good commercial decision. so it's worth thinking about switching to reassure tehm that we are willing to back in companies who are changing their ways.

Well, the results are in, and it seems you guys would like both a green star system for supermarkets AND a carbon tax. 24% supported both, and the rest were evenly spread between the tax and the stars.
